Will has been practicing in the fire engineering field for over 18 years in Australia and New Zealand. He has a broad range of experience from small to large scale projects in applying Acceptable Solutions (C/ASx), Verification Method (C/VM2) and Alternative Solutions (i.e. through engineering first principles and techniques) to meet regulatory requirements.

Will's strong suit is his in-depth knowledge and application of modern fire engineering software such as Fire Dynamic Simulator (FDS), B-RISK, Pyrosim, FireWind etc. These specialised computer software can be utilised to determine fire conditions in most structures; while occupant evacuation can be simulated using Pathfinder.

Will also loves his golf . He obtained a coach license via US Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) in Arizona, USA back in 2012. He is always keen to enjoy a game with anyone upon request/invitation!

Marcus has vast overseas experience as Fire Engineer in Australia, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. He involved in numerous mega projects such shopping centres, convention centres, airport, stadium, etc requiring alternative solutions. He is familiar with the applications of various fire engineering software namely FDS, zone models, egress analysis, etc.

Upon on his return to New Zealand, he continues his expertise in local projects, warehouses, offices, retail fitouts, residential apartments and some big scale projects. His intensive exposure to New Zealand’s Acceptable Solution (C/ASx) and Verification Method (C/VM2) furthers his skills in his fire engineering profession.

Marcus likes to play tennis and watch movies in his spare time. He enjoys meal gathering with family and friends during weekends. However, he noticed that gardening consumes most of his time especially during summers. His next home improvement task is to put concrete pavement over his lawn!
